Ricardo Puccio

Dr. Puccio graduated with distinction from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and from the Business Law and Finance program at the Escuela Superior de Administración de Empresas (ESAN). He joined the firm in July 2001.

Internationally, Dr. Puccio has successfully participated as an advisor in out-of-court negotiation processes, as well as in judicial proceedings before foreign courts, and in investment arbitrations before ICSID.

At the national level, Dr. Puccio has over twenty years of private practice experience, advising major national and international corporations and the highest authorities in the justice system, such as the Supreme Court and the Attorney General's Office. He also has extensive experience litigating before all types of judicial and arbitration authorities in civil, commercial, insurance, and constitutional matters.

Dr. Puccio has extensive experience acting as local counsel for major foreign insurance firms such as Kennedys Law and The Chartwell Law, and has advised companies in the sector such as AIG and Swiss Re. He currently advises various domestic and foreign companies on their investments in Peru.

Dr. Puccio has participated in the development of investment projects such as the installation of a mineral dock fed by a conveyor belt at the Port of Callao.

He is the author of several articles that have appeared in various legal publications. He also has teaching experience in transportation law and has also served as an arbitrator at the National and International Conciliation and Arbitration Center of the Lima Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Puccio has actively participated in the Firm's international investment arbitration proceedings.

His areas of specialization are Civil Procedural Law and Arbitration, Administrative Law, Commercial Law and Insurance Law.
